| Monday morning... in our Jeep, ready to check out the
island and go snorkeling. 7/26/99 |
| This is Trunk Bay, a national park preservatory. We
snorkeled around the outskirt of the small island in the center right. The water is
crystal clear and there are "trail markers" on the bottom which tell about the
different types of fish and coral. We saw many beautiful tropical fish, live rock,
and fan coral. 7/26/99 |

and this is the view of St. Thomas. 7/27/99 |

ships dock here and there is street after street of shopping! 7/27/99 |

| On Wednesday morning we rented a boat and went over to
Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, then went snorkeling at Norman Island caves
(pictured below), then around the southeast side of St. John to complete a trip all the
way around the island. 7/28/99 |
| We went with Charlie West, his fiancee' Carmen. You
can see Jennifer up front behind the windshield. 7/28/99 |
| One of the caves where we snorkeled. The water is
crystal clear to the bottom. We saw purple tangs, parrot fish, sea urchins,
butterfly fish and all types of coral. 7/28/99 |
