We thank our Lord each day for the blessing of each other.  God is so good and bestows His grace and love to us all.  It is amazing how He works in our circumstances and we give Him the glory.

You see - back in 1996, I was completing a new home while working at raising 3 girls on my own and at the same time in a different part of town, (unknown to me) Jennifer was diagnosed with cervical cancer and underwent a hysterectomy.  I faced the dilemma of dating someone who would love me and accept 3 girls as her own.  At the same time, Jennifer was devastated at the reality that she would never have children.  As you can see, it worked out and the interesting thing is... we have known each other almost 8 years.  Jennifer worked for my brother-in-law and then a family friend.  Occasionally I helped her with the computer system, yet we would have never imagined being together.  We both feel like the other is an angel from heaven!  Jennifer has such a big heart and she loves our girls so much.  The girls are crazy about her and enjoy doing the "girl stuff" together!  She is currently busy decorating and helping the girls in their rooms.  She does a beautiful job and truly has a gift for making our house a home.

Thank you to all our friends and family who helped us individually the last couple of years.  Your prayers are appreciated.  God has taught us to trust in Him, to grow stronger through tough times, and make ourselves available to minister to others.  Proverbs 24:3-4 says "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."  We pray that our marriage and children will be those "rare and beautiful treasures."
